My life has been affected by this personally by taking away people that I love dearly.

REMINDER

Okay, so I opened this blog with chloe so everyone could see what was going on with my preterm labor and I only ever had one post, and forgot about it. Thanks to Melissas reminder, I suppose its time to update ours as well! So this is just a quick post to let everyone know that I will be blogging again! But I have to head into work right now and we obviously have a lot to catch up on, so I will finish it when I get home!

Maybe Baby?

Okay so for those of you who don't know whats been going on. Let me fill you in. Thursday night at 9pm I started having consistant contractions.. about 3 min apart. Brian was suppose to fly to New York at 10:30 but we ended up in the hospital instead.. I felt absolutely horrible but let me say I have the best inlaws... they totally understood, and made me feel a little better about the situation.. Anyways The nurse checked me and I was about 1cm and 20% effaced. They also did a test called the fetal fiber-nectan, which is a test for preterm labor. It came back positive. They told be that because of that I have a 40% chance of delivering in the next two weeks. They gave me a shot to stop my contractions and sent me home. We got home at about 4:30 friday morning and around 5:30 I woke up having contractions again.I waited about an hour and they weren't going away so we made our way back to the hospital. They kept me for a couple hours.. check me again and I was still 1cm but 40% effaced. They prescribed me a medication called nephitipine. I have to take it every 6 hours to keep my contractions down. Saturday I was fine.. mild contractions but not regular.. Sunday we went to dinner for mothers day and I started having them every 3 min again. I wanted to wait it out so after dinner they had settle to every 5 min and I just came home to relax. about 2 hours later I was still having contractions and thought my water may be leaking so off to hospital again. They kept me a couple hours and said they didn't think it was my water but weren't sure so to keep an eye on it. Also checked me again.. still 1cm 40%. I had a dr appt this morning where he checked me and said i was about 50% effaced, He ordered me for a steroid shot today and tomorrow to help her lungs develope just in case. I am suppose to lay low till after may 20th, After that he will let me have this baby. I guess my little brat didn't want a June birthday after all... Just like her momma...gotta rush everything!

with that I am driving myself absolutely insane not being able to work or go shopping or clean or any of things I need or want to do. Hopefully I can make it past Sunday though because I am looking SOOOO forward to the baby shower!

I just wanted to Thank everyone for checking in on me and the baby! Our phones have been ringing of the hook with people seeing if they can do anything for us and it really means a lot to me to know that so many people care!

So lets keep our fingers crossed that we will have a happy healthy baby girl in about a week!
